Made in Bangladesh – the’glocal’ brand has already gained immense popularity for their local products with global approach. Like the products, their exhibitions which they call’ Meet Up’ has also been a unique way of exhibiting their products over tea and snacks, meet and greet. The event was held from August 25 to August 27.
Meet up was back on this weekend with a new twist. This time it was bigger and was not only as an exhibition of the brand, but also as a boutique & craft fair before Eid-Ul-Adha. They invited a few other renowned local brands to join in this festive meet up. These brands displayed their products in the beautiful studio premises; and people met there with friends, had conversations and shopped local.
The participating brands were – Made in Bangladesh, SM Products, Pretty Shitty Art, The Flourist, 6 Yards Story, Hijibiji by Zakia, Handtouch, B’s Closett, Koinya, Be le boo, Wearhouse, Aurora and Yoranna.
The products included lifestyle items, clothes, accessories, toys, stationary, food etc. This small but cozy fair was buzzing with people all day where people hung out and spent a merry time. The products were incredible, portraying great craftsmanship of locals and entrepreneurship of the people who run them. Attractions included 15% flat discount offered by the brand Made in Bangladesh, mehendi art by Yoranna and delicious goodies from The Flourists.
What pulled a lot of crowd to the event was the return of Ajo, the popular diner who has been closed for a while because of relocating. People were excited to see the popular and favorite dishes being served again and cherished every bit of it.
The event was co-hosted by Ajo – fast casual and relax dining, SM Products and Made in Bangladesh.
