Malpua Pitha

Ingredients

Flour 1 cup

Rice powder 1/2 cup

Semolina 1tbsp.

Sugar 1 cup

Egg 1

Water 1 cup

Soybean oil 2 cups

Method:

Mix the flour, semolina, egg, sugar and water to make a thick liquid mixture.

Heat a deep frying pan with soybean oil. Take a big deep spoon and collect a portion of the mixture.

Pour it in the hot bubbling oil as a round circle. The dough or ‘pitha’ will swell as it gets deep fried and will be ready when it is golden brown, especially in the circumference.

Repeat to make more.
